Acne, Black Women, Fried Chicken and Skincare

This article, is probably going to offend a lot of black and mixed women. This is not meant to be nice, it is meant to be informative, and help to present solutions. You have been warned. This short paper, looks at the main reasons, that black women, living in western countries, have an increasing amount of skin issues, in particular acne and blemishes, which are almost the norm in major cities in Europe and the United States. This paper, will be very blunt, and may offend some, but, there are issues. When we think of black skin, we think of human beings that are blessed and fortunate enough to be given the elixir of life itself, in abundance... melanin. An aspect of carbon. The black building block of life. The body has been described in religious texts, as being a temple of the spirit. The health of the body, should be paramount. Melanated skin, of black people of all shades, hues and complexions should be clear, smooth and soft, like satin. Note that the word "should" is used. If we look at women, of any race, who are presented as the epitome of beauty, what you will see, is clear, flawless skin.

However, when you see a large number of black women, we see acne, discolouration, ashy, moisturised skin. The temples of the body, are not being taken care of. It's almost as if, the bad state of skin, is the final act, in the litany of health ailments that black people as a whole suffer, in western countries. Diabetes, high blood pressure, ovarian cysts, prostate diseases, obesity... the ailments that black people suffer from in western countries, is indicative of the fact that black people are living lifestyles, that are contrary to their very nature.

Fast food and black women

Fast food, a staple of cheap, unhealthy filth, contributes to the increase in acne and blemishes. The love of filthy, cheap Chinese food, and fried chicken, results in acne filled faces, hidden skilfully with weaves and make up. The very lifestyle that numerous black women live, encourage the degeneration of the skin, and the resulting acne and discoloration.

Heavy MAC foundation, weaves that cause irritation in the skin, sugar laden diets, stress from work and the environment, alcohol use during socialising... the result, is an overwhelmed bodily system, and the reaction in the bodies, largest organ, the skin. The reaction? More often than not, acne, blemishes, and dull, lifeless looking skin. Black skin, in all its natural gory, is no longer enviable, because it is not being looked after. It is odd, that numerous black women, who sadly, on a subconscious level, attempt to emulate Caucasian women, especially celebrities, who are held up by western media as being the very templates of beauty.

Yet it appears that, many black women do not emulate the care and investment, that white women put into looking after their own skin. This is principally because white women, are at a disadvantage in that they age visibly faster than black women, but the converse of this, is, the fact that white women invest in skincare regimens, whilst large numbers of black women are more concerned it seems, with weaves, ridiculous blue and green contact lenses and acrylic nails, with the result being that their skin suffers, and white women, who are prone to more skin ailments, wind up with healthier, clear looking skin.

How can acne and blemishes, be treated and cured in black skin? Indeed, how can this be done, in the face of MAC cosmetics, hair weaves that cause irritation, greasy cheap diets, and an environment, filled with toxins, lack of sun (for those in more northern climates)? It is difficult, but the focus have to be on the solutions.

Treating Black Acne:

To treat acne in black skin, it is a process of cleansing. That, of course goes against the regular type of advice, or simple topical treatment, but nevertheless, it has to be looked at in a process, in order to fully cleanse the skin, and return it, to its natural state of glory. Due to the fact that there are so many different elements, that cause, and amplify acne in black skin, so the main method of preventing acne would be to ensure that there is a cleansing process. Water, and plenty of it, is the foundation of cleansing the skin of acne. Drinking water as often as possible, is a requirement. Ideally, water should be filtered. To assist in the cleansing process, some lemon or lime should be squeezed into the water, and drunk. The skin needs to be hydrated to be clear. The next step, is to look at what poisons you are feeding yourself. Yes, poisons. Look at your diet.

This requires an inventory of foods, that are consumed. Is there an abundance of fast food in your diet? Addicted to KFC and McDonald's? Do you eat processed microwaved foods? Do you drink sugar laden drinks or alcohol regularly? These types of "food" and drink, can have a catastrophic effect on the skin, due to such high levels of grease, additives and bleached sugars, which overload the bodily system. Breakouts in the skin, are not an uncommon result of eating such foods, and the best way of mitigating the assault on your skin, would simply abstain altogether or moderate your intake. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables, cleansing water, and natural foods would need to replace the old junk foods. This creates a system, that will allow for acne to be treated, more effectively.

Using a natural acne treatment cream, in addition to a better diet, will assist in clearing acne in black skin. The fact that there has been a significant, increase in black women, with acne, demonstrates that it is the result of bad lifestyle choices. With an adjustment, and an investment in high quality acne treatments that have been formulated for black skin, will ensure that black women, can make their skins flawless.

Conclusion:

To conclude, getting rid of acne in black skin, is as much a health issue, as it is a skincare issue. Unfortunately, it seems that black women, in the United States, and Western Europe, are more interested in bad weaves and fried chicken, than in looking after their naturally blessed, melanated skin. It is time for a change, and that change means looking after, what is great and beautiful. Mass numbers of black people, that live in the west, just do not understand the sheer value, and beauty of their skin, and so don't invest in looking after it. That needs to stop. Forthwith. Looking after your skin, investing in high quality black skincare products, and actually having a skincare regime, is an element of self respect... and logic dictates, that you are treated, as you present yourself. Acne laden, ashy skin, does not suggest a woman of substance, or a woman that truly respects herself.

The objective, for black women, who suffer from acne, must be to have Black skin, that is pure, healthy and clear of acne. That, is what the beautiful visage of a black woman, must be: A perfect symbol of natural womanhood, with Clear, flawless skin. Hiding behind contacts, honey blonde weaves and heavy makeup is just not cutting it anymore.
